Tapestry Artists of Puget Sound (TAPS) was founded in 1990

for the exchange of techniques, philosophy and inspiration

within the world of tapestry. The group provides a forum for

the exchange of ideas and an opportunity for critical review

through discussion, exhibition and publication. Each artist

has developed and refined a body of work that expresses a

unique vision and commitment to the art form.

New tapestry inspired by a day fishing on the Methow River. I find my work is looking more and more abstract these days though the focus and emphasis remain the same.

Hot off the easel and maybe not quite finished; we’ll see. The monsoons have hit so cozy time to be busy in the studio. When we get five minutes of sun, I dash out with my vegie starters and pretend to garden, run the dogs in the mud and then back inside for the next rainy blast. TAPS show at Blue Heron starts on Friday!
